Electrical Drafting is widely used.  People that do this type of work are employed by manufacturers that use electrical controls for their products, architects, engineering design firms, utility companies, and others.  Many things that are produced or maintained involve using electricity.

This course includes drawings that will prepare you to do electrical plans for buildings and it will have you create some of the common types of schematics found in industry (wiring termination diagrams, loop diagrams, ladder diagrams, etc.).  It begins with using standard symbols and drawing some generic circuits, and progresses from there.
